By using Private Tools, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

Use of the tools

  • All utilities run client-side; you are responsible for your inputs and outputs.
  • Do not use the tools for unlawful purposes or to infringe on others© rights.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the site or its assets.

Local processing & no data collection

We do not collect or store your inputs, outputs, or files. Processing occurs locally in your browser using built-in APIs and locally bundled libraries.

Security and cryptography

Certain tools use cryptographic functions (e.g., hashing, encryption) based on browser APIs and open-source libraries. Cryptographic strength depends on your environment and usage; evaluate suitability for your needs.

No warranties

The tools are provided ©as is© without warranties of any kind (express or implied), including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, private.tools is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of these tools, including loss of data, business, or profits.

Third-party components

We bundle select open-source libraries locally (e.g., OpenPGP.js, bcrypt.js, @iarna/toml). See the licenses page for details and applicable terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
