About Private Tools

What we do

Private Tools is a collection of client-side utilities for developers, security-minded users, and anyone who prefers offline-friendly workflows. All tools run locally using browser APIs and locally bundled libraries.

Privacy by default

• No accounts or sign-ups.
• No analytics, ads, or tracking pixels.
• No data leaves your browser©inputs and outputs stay on your device.

Local-only processing

Hashing, encryption, encoding/decoding, formatting, and generation are executed in your browser. Downloads are generated locally; nothing is uploaded.

Open-source components

We bundle select open-source libraries (like OpenPGP.js, bcrypt.js, @iarna/toml) locally. See our licenses page for details.

Roadmap

We continuously add and refine tools based on utility and privacy impact. Suggestions are welcome.
